Trails and bikepaths criss-cross the campus and community and lead to an abundant variety of hill-training and flat, tempo-based routes. UO's track and field facility, Hayward Field, annually showcases the world's best distance runners and was the home track of 104 Duck Olympians. A host of current and former collegiate and post-collegiate stars will be on hand to offer constant instruction on training techniques, nutrition, plyometrics and competition strategies. Sessions are often staged in small groups to encourage personal attention and plenty of feedback for all ages and ability levels. The mix of counselors is balanced between experienced college and high school coaches, and college athletes to encourage a variety of fun and interactive teaching styles.
