Campus Accommodations

Campers stay two to a room in the University of Oregon dormitories located directly across from Hayward Field.

Counselors also stay in the dorms to provide constant supervision, along with the resident camp administrator who is on-site full-time to supervise the staff.

If you want to request a roommate preference, let us know before registration day. Bedding and sheets are furnished, but remember to bring your own towel.

On the Menu

Just like a regular college student, campers choose from a buffet menu in the UO dormitories three times a day that will satisfy the pickiest eaters. Day campers are invited to eat lunch and dinner (although breakfast is not included).

In the case that the camper will not be arriving by car we have provided the following links to assist you in making travel reservations.

By Plane

Shuttle service to and from the Eugene airport is available if arrangements are made at least one week in advance. Please e-mail oregontrackcamp@msn.com to make arrangements.

By Bus

The Greyhound Bus Station is approximately 2 miles from campus.

By Train

The Eugene Amtrak Station is approximately 2-1/2 miles from campus.

Parking

For individuals who choose to drive their automobiles (whether you are an overnight or day camper), you are encouraged to purchase a PARKING PERMIT from PUBLIC SAFETY for $20. They will be on hand during registration for your convenience. If you choose not to purchase a permit (it’s not mandatory), be advised that Public Safety will issue parking tickets which will be the responsibility of the owner of the vehicle.

We recommend that you play it safe and get a permit.
